Here's the problem.
I've been asked by a museum in Holland to build a diorama of the ending of the Vietnam war.
Done it before ( diorama of the Tainanmansquare protest in China )
Actually it will be two scene's combined and based on these two pictures.
I will use a 1/72 scale in order to keep it a bit sizeable.
So...the search began for needed things. Well, choppers are no problem and I've got a guy on shapeways that made me the two figures in the picture ( taking a picture and using the megaphone).
But... I need more 1/72 figures on the shipdeck and on 'waiting to climpb aboard the chopper".
I found them since Preiser makes two sets that will do just fine !
They have two sets (72512 and 72520 ) that will work but....these are "out of stock" everywhere !!!
After a lot off Googling I did find a US based store , Reynaulds, that still has both sets but......the won't ship overseas unless the order is at least $100,-
I'm looking for other ways to get my hands on these two sets but if not the only way is to :
- order and pay both sets
- have them send them to a US-adress
- have the one I have them send it to send them to me ( shipment payed, of course )
So....if I do not succeed in finding these sets elswhere is there anybody out there amongst you who will be the 'middleman' in this complex process.........
Or someone with a better idea...

And again, thanks John, for helping me out with the figures. This diptych was made for the "Legerdiorama-wereld" museum that will open this year. They will put it on display with the two, well known, original pictures as background.
Making stuff like this is not my "hobby" but it pays nicely so I can buy the stuff I dó like.
