Sergej Petrow (Russia)

Form this russian artist there are a lot of very highly detailled uniform plates - especially from the 7YW and the napoleonic times and other sujets.

Here some Cuirassiers from the 7YW, Prussians, Russians, Austrians and Saxons - unter them the only painting I know (the first one!) that shows the iron head protection, cuirassiers wore upon their hats against saber beats...:

I checked the list and I think I have not yet reported Riccardo Cerilli artist of Rome, also the author of splendid miniatures (commercial and unique pieces) this table is one of the latest made (I particularly appreciated because of the provenance of the members of the regiment represented, they came from my valleys )

I came across the name by accident and, given the paintings I found, had to check through all the posts to double check that I hadn't missed him when compiling the lists/links.

Louis Frégier

Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel

Sergey, in his sculpting post ‘Rehearsal’, mentioned the name of Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel, and used one of the artists paintings as the inspiration for his excellent sculpt.
I have taken the liberty of adding Lesrel to the list of Artists and Illustrators.

Frank Moss Bennett

Following on from the above, The same post had the Gambling Musketeers attributed to Frank Moss Bennett (although the painting clearly showed M Stifter 1899).
