    Hello everyone,
After four or five years (if I remember well) without painting but only looking to other's works, I am going to paint the following bust from S&T...

It is a second hand kit that I bought on ebay for few euros. The bust has been painted before and I begun by washing it up . The rifle was broken and I fixed it up too. I've changed the base with an IL BASETTA one.

I hope to give it a second life and to do justice to this John Rosengrant bust.

As usual I primed the face with humbrol white mat 34 and flexh matt 61... CSA 0.JPG CSA 1.JPG CSA 2.JPG CSA 4.JPG

One of my favorite busts of an American Civil War subject! (y) I have painted the kit once and have another in my stash. John Rosengrant did a super job on this one from every angle: the weapon- Austrian Lorenz Rifle, beehive hat, bedroll, Columbus Depot Jacket, facial expression. Can't wait to see you complete this one. Definitely an oldie but a goodie in my book!

Have painted this a few months ago.
It is worth every brushstroke you put on it.

I have this one in my GGA as well. An oldie but goodie from Rosengrant. Nice that you found and have restored him for a new paint job. Look forward to seeing how he comes out.
