Fine work but surely a Viking or Saxon.
The shield says Viking and the Seax says Saxon.
Going to be a very impressive piece.
    Cheers

Deeply impressive but as Del says above - Viking surely or a Saxon wearing a captured Viking helmet ?

Very well done. I suspect the front of the shield should be covered with leather or similar - I use plasticard for the faces of my scratch built shields.

Hey. This is approximately 250 mm, if the figure is full-length.

Very well sculpted, only remark is that when looking 'face-on' his face is completely obscured by the shield. Would have been nice to see a little of it (even if not 100% historically correct)

Superb sculpting. Vikings appear to have had well kept beards and Normans to have been clean shaven with short hair.....

Thanks for the feedback. Is there a difference between the Vikings and the Normans? It's in the beards? Or did you mean Normans from Normadia? We just have them on another name: NORMANDETS.

you are obviously confusing Norsemen and Normans. Norsemen lived in Scandinavia and some of them were Vikings, their language was Old Norse. Normans were a particular group of Vikings who settled in Normandy and became Francophone.
