Help with a Metal Modeles figure painting

    Hello!

    I would like to know if is possible to paint this figure as a Hussar or a Chausser à Cheval.
    Need some major conversion or accessories?
    Any help is welcome!

    The figure could be painted as a hussar (change the device on the sabretache) but the horses shabraque is wrong. Other ranks used a sheepskin, officers used the pointed cloth shabraque. I have found a picture of a trooper using the cloth shabraque but he is wearing a shako.
