You remember this new Historex / Nemrod.I just received the copy ordered.
60 € with the shipping costs.
I promised you a review, I really do not know if I'll do it.
What a disappointment, send in cardboard (real shipping costs € 3.5 instead of 7 paid), a plastic bag, with a sheet of instructions (color photos of the vignette- but no assembly guide)) and three plastic figures HISTOREX!:mad:
Although there are 3 bare head resin and 3 pairs of hand resin, they offer a bust (I would offer Nap for Christmas ...) and then that's it ....
60 € for that, if at least the riders had been figurines resin ...
If you really want a review, I'll do it, but for what it will serve....
It is very difficult for me to be negative, but here we touch the bottom ...
A shame, bad publicity, bad description, disappointment on the product, excessive shipping costs ....
Only one good point is the speed of shipping, but not very secure packaging for the object.
It's up to you to see if you want this vignette, for my part, last purchase at Nemrod outside the show.
    They lost a client.
    Some photos anyway:

Finally, at Nemrod / Historex, they do not agree on the title of the vignette : "Trompettes des chasseur de la Garde Wagram 1809" For the website "Trompettes de l'artillerie à cheval de la garde Wagram 1809"for the product you receive.
    A real lack of professionalism.
Almost like the French rugby team that will finish last in the tournament (another disappointment):cry:
Luckily there are Metal Models ,RDGs, Pegaso and many others (as serious sellers and makers) for Empire enthusiasts ......

This is sad to hear, Historex where my main figures I learnt to paint with and still got a few old kits that one day will be put together and painted.

I too am saddened by this. This set hasn't appeared yet on the Historex Agents website in the UK, it will be interesting to see how it is described there.

I appreciate the honest review. Some times it is hard to say anything negative (politics aside) about a company or a particular figure since our hobby is so small. I got a kit last year from a manufacturer that I had never dealt with before and will not buy another. I have considered bringing the issue to the forum. And if I brood on it long enough, I may.

Seeing that I VASTLY prefer the styrene Historex range to the resin Nemrod, this discovery is fortuitous in my eyes. I would agree that the pricing is a bit steep and packing inadequate for shipping however.

I would guess the title of grenadiers a cheval is a simple mis-labelling.They look a very nice set of horse artillery trumpeters esp. for styrene. Just a bit on the steep side.

Where I am most disappointed is that historically resin and historical figures, as well as resin kits is almost a French invention.
We were among the first to launch this adventure, more than thirty years ago (for the resin) with people like Maurice DES, José Fernandez, Bruno Leibovitz, Didier Chaumette, Sauvé, Jourdain, Jean Marc Goutte Toquet etc. .
We had quality and know-how, and as usual we were bad in continuity.
What is left, not much, we ruined everything !!!
And this commercial example of NEMROD / HISTOREX shows it well ...

Have you contacted Historex to let them know your displeasure?

    Prost!

I too am very disappointed. From what you have written it appears that you get three standard Historex mounted kits with resin heads and hands. To me this means that a lot of conversion will be necessary for each chasseur figure to create the vignette shown in the photograph. I will have to think long and hard about this one.

Well, first I would buy this three figures but they are now from the list.
I have a box full of historex figures and I think I have enough to build this three.
I would buy them because I've never converted a figure, but it's time now to start it.

In the latest Historex/Nemrod newsletter (printed on real paper and received via real mail!) it was clearly stated that this kit was made up of three Historex plastic kits plus a few resin parts.

There is no need to polemize, everyone does not receive the newsletter (paper or web), it is simple commercial common sense, correctly describe the product that we sell.
I know many people from the middle of the model in France and abroad and I am sorry to see this lack of professionalism.
This is the real complaint that I make to this product in particular and also some online sales site (unfortunately French)
If, on the other hand, I'm really happy with a product, do not worry, I'll talk about it too.

A small addition to this review showing my disappointment.
A good surprise from a French manufacturer ADV / AZIMUT
In the section I test for you!
I ordered several figurines from the French army with kit conversions.
Order last week, arrived this morning.
    Everything looks very beautiful.
Beautiful figurines, beautiful resin (molding by .... NEMROD)
    So reviews in perspective ....

Just curious: What were you expecting to receive? Because judging from the vignette photo, a product described as a Nemrod/Historex release implied to me exactly what the kit turned out to be.
I defer to your judgment that 60 Euros is a steep price, and it does appear that the shipping cost is a ripoff.

If you knew Nemrod / Historex well, and considering the price, given as a promotion, the minimum would have been resin jumpers.
I know very well the French and European prices, and 3 figures riding on plastic horse on promotion must not be at a price of 53 €, you have to stay serious!
The new Azimut set of motorcycles with side car, previously produced, with parts in metal phototodecuts, resin and 6 plastic parts is less than 50th, and there we had to design everything.

No, it is necessary. He's the only one who can do anything.

By my question, I want to emphasize that some people would otherwise complain about something like this to anyone and everyone, except to that person in the best position to do something about it, the merchant.

Reading the code number it was understood that they were made of plastic and not of resin

the plastic historex pieces begin with 30H
the nemrod pieces in resin with N54

Obviously, greater attention to the consumer would be desirable

Yes, but this is not the first time that Historex / Nemrod mixes references.
They mix well the titles ....
