    Hello to all,
This is my rendition of Pegaso's latest 90mm gladiator when I saw him knew I wanted to paint him just not as the Godfather in a loincloth but as a big heavy bull of a man. Then at work one of my storemen an African guy 6ft tall built just like the figure was standing in the same pose drinking a bottle of water .HOLY CRAP THATS IT.................
That night this fellow was born........

Still require shading and highlighting on shield and to paint ribbon on inside of shield . All painted in oils and bronze powders

This looks really good.I quite fancied this one myself .I much prefer him with the helmet, on as he looks a lot more menacing.Does the shield come with the figure?

Thank you guys I'm glad you like him
Morning Brian yes he does come with the shield and the hand holding the shield separate I was thinking of another one but instead of shield holding a trident I read in one of the reference books of a Mirmillone who fought with a trident and shield I like the idea of trident and sword..
