    Hello
The figure is NOT inspired on painting or engraving, is the result of many hours of work, to get a good idea.
Nobody has accused Britain of piracy, (obviusly isn't a recast) but if they had consulted me, I would have been flattered, and I would have given them my best wishes.
    Cheers.

I e-mailed Britain's on this point, Jose, at the same time asking why they had not apparently had the courtesy of consulting you first. This was over two weeks ago, and I've not had any response from them...... Big Business, eh?

Britains also did this one which Michael Roberts has as a kit.Alan Ball sculpted this and I believe is a close frienf of Ken Osen so this one should be ok.

With all due respect, I think that people have accused Britain of piracy. The whole point of this thread, and the several posts people made to the Facebook page, is precisely to accuse Britain of copying your piece. We may split hairs about piracy versus plagiarism, but at a general level, the accusation leveled at Britain through this thread and the Facebook posts, is that the club figure released back in July is a copy of your figure.

It remains an curious episode, in any case. A couple of days after the accusations were posted in Facebook, the post was deleted, and apparently, no one from Britain has responded to any attempts to contact them regarding this issue.

Just to say Alan Ball sculpts for Britans which is why they will not have been much of a problem with them doing the Indian vignette in a toy soldier style. just a thought.
