    Hello folks,
Another figure i had waiting for quite sometime , it is a 54mm Spanish fusilier from Art Girona.
I am doing a very little conversion work to portray a trooper of a company of Chasseurs a pied of "Correntinos", the name refers to the Province of Corrientes located in the northeast of Argentina .
This comlany was formed from local militias at the Viceroyalty of Rio de la Plata ( Argentina) as a result of the First British in asion of Buenos Aires in 1806, and bravely fought the invaders on the second attempt in 1807.
Their uniform was based on the Spanish light infantry, with a green tunic with yellow collar, cuffs , yellow braid lace , red waist band , whire pants and long boots.

Hi Jai, generally i try to do all the mods before any primer or color, but some details on the figure come up when you have the primer on, especially the primer i use allos to see most of the imperfections and it is a sandable primer

The only reason i have not done the boots is cause i want to use the existing short gaiters and turn it into boots, tKimg advantage of the shape, creases and so on, at least some of the items are best to work that way.
    Best regards

I have worked on the hat a lottle , added a turn up edge and cords , added some sideburns and more hair and pony tail.
Added the black leather belt aroumd his waist and improved the sash ribbon as well.
After a little break i worked on one of the legs to make the boots, i just added some brownstuff and blend it into the short gaiters and shape up the boots... 20170902_231912.jpg 20170902_231919.jpg

Well Daniel you are a clever putty pusher ....like the work on the face and the hat ...and 1 boot is done !....

One thing have a look at the back of his right arm , might be the seam or could be a casting line

    Looking forward to seeing more
