I am really very happy to see this series! I posted a desire on here several months ago for something like this - and here they are! Great!

Hope to see busts for Annapolis and the US Coast Guard Academy, as well! (And most any other academy with cool uniforms!)

Now, time for me to put my money where my mouth is, I suppose!

I wonder what would have to be sculpted in order to obtain an almost contemporary counterpart from Germany.

Although the German Bundeswehr has numerous colleges and academies, which are only accessible to soldiers, they are training centers of the army, not military academies(cadet schools in the strict sense for children and/or young people.

The only really cadet school I found is the "Kadettenanstalt in Naumburg" in the former GDR.

And this also only existed from 1956 to 1960, then it was closed again because of "ideological concerns" and disproportionately high expenditure (only a very small fraction of the graduates of the so-called "Kadette" actually went to the NVA!).

A "current" bust of a German cadet would have to look like this ...:
