    Hi everybody

Well...I have been swirling putty around again.....using a Paul Blaber sculpt as a basis of which these are a couple of versions available

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

After much dremel use I ended up with a basic torso shape the only thing original being the head ..this was detailed up as seen using magi sculpt mainly

I completely reworked all the lacework , the star on his chest , length end the torso to a more pleasing shape , added the sash , a part of the coat below and tge tassels and sword belt .....

Here's the reworked piece before any priming ....

A challenge to paint with the Black and the flash of blue on the collar and cap

Here are some of my reference pictures

    Hi Nap, congratulations!
    Great work on the torso.
It seems to me that you are becoming a sculptor!
Would this one be commercial? He would complete the Waterloo series from MMM :)

    Hi Christian

Thanks for your comments pleased you like the work ..a lot of muttering under my breath and even more coffee

    Me a sculptor ..I WISH !!!!!!

....... struggling with being human ..lol !!

..it's all about fun and enjoying for me ..or giving folk a laugh with my stuff! ..lol

It woukd make a nice addition but by far more skilled modellers than me ( Pavol for instance ) but as its a commercial sculpt originally not possible!

Next step is to check it all over again ..prime in black ! ..then get base colours on ....

Oda ...thank you ...all those blacks ...looking forward to it ..nice little challenge for me ...that with the flesh and the blue together with the silver and gold(?) sash.

You will see I have also added pictures of a cap and the horse badge ..?.I also have a Jäger of the Avantgarde from Blaber Miniatures ...all gray with a flash of green facings and the distinctive "Corsican" headwear ..more later in another thread!

    Thanks for looking in

Like Bob said, "don't belittle yourself". You should consider releasing it commercially.

This looks to be a great piece of work you have pulled off, very well done. A great exercise in matching the bust to the colour reference that you have. Now don't F**k it up. Not now! Lol.

It seems to be important who you hob nob with Kev
It must be quite a challenge to have so much black to paint and make it interesting? Hans Holbein the younger was the Master with Black and for me this is the best example for me. I hope that this inspires you my friend.
    Best wishes
