    Hi Daniel

A fine looking bunch of officers and again more details added with the buttons ....

as you paint smaller scales do you push the highlights further as they really work well?

I am liking the new heads , a range of age groups in the looks and again you bring a bother bit of interest in the drum major ...looking forward to seeing these come to life ....

Are we having a band now as well ?

    Hapoy watching from me

Hi mate, i will not have a band but a drum major and 2 drummers with the 8 troooers presenting arms on the inspection conducted by the officer.
As for the highlights yes, i have to lush the envelope a little, otherwise you would not notice .
    Cheers

Great work on such a small scale Daniel, and such a difficult task of painting effectively. You are a master of the minis.

Belts and givernes ar edone both, gardes suisses and françaises.
The guards wore buff belts edged in white leather.
The cartridge boxes were of red Russian Leather edged innwhitw leather and with the royal arms on it with a silver wash.
I have used vallejo khaki for the belts, i applied a brush over with valejo sepia wash.
The edges are silver grey with a dab of white.
Cartridge boxes were painted with vallejo red leather with few washes of GW carrobourg crimson.
Added some silver on the kimg's arms with a dry brush technique.
The wigs for the French guards are done as well. ammunition-pouch-of-a-soldier-in-the-gardes-francaises-regiment-in-picture-id587773105.jpg 20170404_230917.jpg 20170404_230907.jpg
