Hello all. Life has distracted me from the hobby for a few years, but I'm back to sculpting and painting and would like to share my latest work. This is a 1/9th scale bust of a famous western movie character ( any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental...wink, wink) I began with a sculpy head, cast in resin, and built up the rest with A+B, Aves, magic sculp, and Knead-a-tite putties. The pistols are resin copies of a master I made from plastic tubing and sheet.

Wow! Great job Randy! This brings back some memories. I did this exact bust back a few years ago in 1/6 scale (attached pic). Gave it to a friend of mine who really liked Clint Eastwood. I'd love to do it again. You did a really fine likeness!

Thank you everyone! I like your version too James; the arms look very relaxed and natural. Getting the torso and arms to fit together was a real challenge. I too conceived this project as a gift for a friend who is a big fan of "The Outlaw Josey Wales", and this particular example is in his possession, but I cast a few copies for myself and anyone who might be interested.
