    Greetings.
This will be my first attempt at painting a bust/s. I have decided to go with Mitches four Rorke's Drift busts. Lieutenant's Chard, & Bromhead, C/Sgt Bourne and Private Hook.

Chard & Bromhead are as they come out of the box, Bourne & Hook have some attachments I hope you like.

The Conversions were done by our own Jim Evans aka(Jimbo) and I am over the moon with them.
So thank you Jim a great job.

Now the bad news I wont be able to put paint to bust until Feb next year as I am away from home.
But I was so pleased with them I had to show them off.

Jimbo has done a good job and can't wait for the paint to go on.

    Yes Bob he certainly did.
Being a rivet counter for correctness , It was a hard decision to go with the the film,
But Jim offered to put an arm on Hook for me then I had the idea of the duty book.
So job done. Now I have to wait to see them in the flesh just hope I can do them justice.

    Hi Mick
What a great idea they are going to look fantastic when painted , I know historically the movie had fault but god what a good one , bloody hell have the music in my head already lol .
I must admit Jimbo is an absolute dimond when he puts together these conversions for us and to such high standard considering he has been in a pretty bad way for a long time with his back ,but always a smile and a joke , we were laughing the other day about how he walked across the kitchen one day when I visited looked like he had a cattle prod inserted some where lol
But joking aside thanks for always having ideas and magi sculpt warm and ready
Oh stop crying Jim you big tart
    Cheers Chris

    Hey there El Mick,
When you told me at Folkestone I did say can't wait to see this.
Great idea, terrific work from Jim, lovely result.

I'd be staring at them every day even without the paint so I know you will be getting enjoyment from having them ready to go.
I do worry that it's too hot for you to paint there at the moment, makes me wonder how the other Spanish modellers and Mr Vallejo ever get anything done at all.
Get on with it you big Jessie.

    Hi Mick,
Look forward to the winter months to see some colour on these. I had a similar idea to do a modified version of my 120mm version of Colour Sgt. Bourne reading the roll.
    cheers

It all comes to those that wait and I have to bloody wait. and so do you.
