    Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum and to the world of miniatures. This is my first piece and I am here to learn, so every piece of advice will be much appreciated.

The piece itself is a 35mm white metal figure by Knight Models and the base was built from scratch using Milliput, plastic sheets (1mm thick I think they were) and thin aluminium wire. It was painted using Vallejo Model Color acrylics, with a triad of colors scheme in mind.

Thanks a lot, Housecarl. Glad you like it.

It is indeed my first. I knew the theory through my father, who has painted miniatures for years and although he is 2500km away is always willing to answer all my questions via email/Skype/Whatsapp... ahhhh technology :)

I am trying to convince my father to post pictures of his recent works, in the meantime you can check out some of his old stuff here.

Hi! Thanks for the thumbs up!

I am thinking of a bust indeed... Latorre's Germanic Warrior for Heroes & Villains. It is going to be challenging. As soon as I finish a couple of side projects I am working on, I'll get to it and then we'll see how I do working with bigger scales :S

    Cheers,

    Jaime
