Some of the early Pegasos are absolute classics. I have a number that this is one that has eluded me. I just noticed something suttle here that which adds to the uniqueness of the figure - one foot is slightly off the shoe just like what may happen in real life.

After verification it's a re-release of a 1998 model !!!

If you have a lot at Pegaso website, you will see that there's a lot of figures that you can not order. End of production ?

I painted this figure at about 2000 in my first acrylic tryings and he was a pleasure to paint with the nice face and other details.But meanwhile he bent the halberd and went over his sandalette .A steel-shaft must replace the tin-shaft,a little advice for future painters of him.

Excellent figure then and now. It is a shame that some producers has ended selling some beautiful figures, I think that always they have to keep a good master for future castings.
