Doesnt these rough edges wear and damage the bristles?
Also, what prevents the majority of the pigment to just sit on the inlay istead of bottom of the jar?
Ive been using Andrea, Vallejo and Mig but I have never seen the water become clear at the upper half as when using Humbrols and Mineral Spirit. But of course pigmentes settles on the bottom with acrylis as well.

I suggested rubbing them gently but I agree it's not a perfect system
Somebody enterprising should design one - maybe with a sloping filter plate to make sure the sediment runs off

But as water is cheaper and easier to dispose compared to Mineral Spirits I would say the best solutions is to change water every session if not more often.
