What is the difference between the "mk1" and these new brushes?

Sorry for the radio silence recently, I have just got back from Salute and unfortunately my WiFi coverage wasn't amazing (n)

The brush sets are now up on the webstore www.brokentoad.co.uk and we ship worldwide

With the new brushes we have listened to customer feedback & criticism and spent the last year trying to improve on areas people were not too happy with. The hair is a higher quality Kolinsky hair so there should be better snap & water retention, we have also opted for a new handle design which now has more weight to it meaning the brushes will have better overall balance than the previous ones.

If anyone has any further questions please don't hesitate to ask

    Thanks
    Kris

My order of Mk@ brushes recently arrived in the land of Oz and they look great. Really looking forward to how they perform.

Ok, my 2 cents worth. I ordered, I received and now I've used. I use acrylics, so I can only speak for that. First, since I've been painting (4 years now). I've always used W&N 7's. My first impression was nice tips, second the feel once I put them in my hand, they feel really good, very balanced. I started painting and WOW. To my amazement to me they perform as well as Series 7's. Now, I had a very small issue with on of the brushes, Kris contacted me personally and problem solved. I love these brushes. For a beginner wanting good quality brushes but does not want to fork out $ for Series 7's, I super highly recommend these brushes. Thank You Broken Toad for such great brushes. Oh, and one other thing, I've tried a lot of different brushes. Thanks for reading my opinion.

I couldn`t have said it any better. I totally agree with Mark about the brushes I got from Kris at Broken Toad. He sent them out quickly and I also bought the soap which I like very much too. Treat yourself to these wonderful brushes and buy the whole set of four like I did. Thanks again Kris. Paul.................
