Hey everyone. It's been awhile since I've posted anything, so here is my latest project. It is Andre'
Messena, one of Napoleon's generals. It is based on a LePlumet print, and one I found on the net.
Just changed the arm position, the rest about the same as the print. Eisenbach horse, Metal Modeles
hussar legs, and bits. A few Historex pieces, and the riders head from spares. The rest is Magic Sculpt,
and as always painted in acrylics, and printers ink for the metals. Comments are always welcome.
    Thanks for looking.

Great job with animation and painting Rod. No one ever models Massena and he was one of the best of the Marshalate. Definitely on my list too.

Really nice job Rod. Clever re-work of an existing figure (I say re-work even though there's a lot more than that going on) :p

Thanks guys for the comments, and kind words. This was a project that I had wanted to do for awhile. Glad you like him! I can't believe I had spelled his name wrong. Couldn't read my own writing, and I'm not even a doctor.
My apologies to doctors everywhere! (y)

Great work, Rod.....he had a nickname,too;- "Le Flibustier" (The Pirate). Apparently he had a penchant for hoarding plunder.......

Massena in miniature is not a common subject. Your take is very well done and unique. Like it a lot! (y)

Saw this in person at the Atlanta Show this past weekend! Excellent piece of work indeed! Rod you really outdid yourself on Massena. Enjoyed seeing it! It was
so life like, I could swear he and the horse were about to just jump right off the base! Thanks for posting!

Thanks Eduardo, and Terry for your comments. I really enjoyed doing the conversion. The minute I saw the print I knew it had to be done! First time I've used Metal Modeles parts on any of my work. I think it worked very well.
Terry, It was good seeing you, and your son this last weekend! Glad you liked him.

    Best Regards,
    Rod
