HENRY V and Sir Condrington at Azincourt

    Hi All,

Here are some pics of this (very) old vignette from Soldiers.
With Soldiers and those old kits, no surprise : it is a mess !!!
Old molds with pore quality material. This one was not the exception.
The head of Condrington has been re-scultped/detailled with Duro (he loohed like an alien ; just a triangle for the nose and two strange bubbles to figure the eyes). The worse thing was the helmet of Henry V : the old mold had it completely modified, mostly the top of 'face' (the parts were not adjusted with right side different than left side)
But anyway, it remains and great and classic piece sculpted at the time by Mario Venturi and with lot of historical details :
    - the garter of Henry V
    - Henry V with no spurs and the axe
    - Henry V with the correct helmet he wore that day (and who saved his life)

    Nevertheless : happy it's done ;)

That is very nice! Sounds like a lot of work to get there, but the result is very much worth it.

    Cheers,

Very nice work on what sounded like a difficult kit. Like the heraldry and the groundwork too.
    Cheers
