Roman Legionary, Tapae, 101 A.D., Linjo Models

    Hi everyone!

I've just finished my first bust, a Roman Legionary from Linjo Models (200 mm), only Scale Acryllics (excellent metallics!) and Leonardo da Vinci brushes. No airbrush!
I choose to represent almost a veteran (I didn't like the musketeer style beard, so I had to complete by brush) of elite Legio XIII Gemina who fought in Dacia, against king Decebal. So, here it is C. Antonius Fronto, at Tapae, 101 A.D., when a powerfull storm put it an end to the battle between the Romans of Emperor Trajan and the Dacians of king Decebal.
In order to suggest this, I used a wet fluid of AK Interactive, placed over the cloak (paenula) and the armour (lorica segmentata), and some vegetation from a Forest in the pot set of Reality in Scale.
This is the result, I still have a button to paint. My warm thanks to Bogdan (b00gie), Zeno and Serghey Popovichenko for their encouragements and some advices. Your commentaries are most welcome!
    Cheers,
    Nicolae

    Good job! (y)
Like the effect on the cape. Beginning of a storm with a lot of green stuff flying around and big rain drops. Cool! :)
    Cheers,
    Zeno :)
