Next step... I do not have much time to sculpt but the Viking progresses . The sword and the shield were done with Milliput putty...for the rest ... always Fimo. Hope you'll like it and thanks for your nice comments! :D

This really is coming on beautifully, great pose and very natural proportions. If you don't mind me making a suggestion, if you gently taper off the edge of the shield, it will give the impression that the whole thing is much thinner.
    Best wishes, Gary.

Looks very promising. I dont mind if you do the shield somewhat thinner as they easily get to thick.

Everything coming together nicely on this sculpt, pose, proportions and detail are hanging just right with each other.

Such a lovely natural looking pose, this is coming along beautifully. Can I suggest that you start thinking about some groundwork? You always get a better feeling for where you're heading if the figure is actually standing on something(y).
    Best wishes, Gary.

Very professional work. Hard to believe you've only sculpted a few figures before. Just fantastic. Must be a joy to paint.

Thanks to everybody for your nice messages...

Next step...I took these first pictures just before cooking...the sculpture is finished. It remains for me to do hands, shield and the sleeve...

The problems occurred when cooking are probably coming from the time taken to sculpt the figure...even with an adequate preservation ( with a glass jar) the putty was probably a bit old...there are cracks. All cracks were repaired with Milliput juices and nothing will be visible when painting or casting.

Some pictures of the current state...still a bit of work and it will be finished.
