Here is my lastest finished piece. Took me a long time to finish as the green was a challenge and the red color was even more difficult. I painted it with acrylic's. Michael Miniatures

Both colors came out really nice. You'll do well with this at MFCA.

Thanks for the nice comments. Nap for the green I used Andrea green base with a drop of Prussian blue. I did the shadows in washes of the Andrea green paints and adding a drop of Prussian blue to each. The highlight the same Andrea greens but adding scale 75 iroko and scale 75 solyellow to the mix ending with thin washes of solyellow on the highlights. The red was a mix of deep red and violet red shadows by adding violet and sunset purple. The highlights were Andrea reds mixed with pink flesh and further mixed with Mars orange and solyellow . The pink flesh was a tip I got from Mike Blank. I had this bust sitting with base colors done for almost a year ,kept looking at it trying to figure out the best way to finish it. I just picked it up a couple of weeks ago and gave it a good try to finish it out and it started to come together. I have this uniform in my collection and the colors on the bust match the uniform colors was happy about that. Mike
