I've already showed him here once. I just want him standing here on the bench, so he would not get lost.

Ernst, as soon as my work load lightens, I hope to be able to still take you up on your offer to purchase one.

Just arrived in today's post. What a beauty. The figure consists of seven crisply casted white metal pieces. The figure is broken down into the following:

    Head
    Upper body/left arm
    Right arm
    Lower body
    Cartridge case
    Musket
    Base

Overall, the figure is extremely well sculpted with some fine detailing noted around the pockets, flintlock mechanism and the coat of arms on the cartridge case. The stance, loll of the head and the definite squint in the left eye portrays the musketeer as I would imagine him to be. The fit is near perfect with only a swipe of filler being required for the joint between the right arm and the shoulder. Both hands are sculpted to the musket and slot perfectly into the sleeves.

Ernst has produced a fine figure in a sorely over looked era of European history and can be rightly proud of his work. Can't wait to get the brushes at this one.

Guy, Vergilius, Herb, thank you. I think it's looking good for kitchen production, though it's nightmare for my wife.
Herb, Paul did get him from me. You can contact me after 18th of August.

And I will be in Folkestone this September too, just in case...

    Hi guys,
I see that this thread is so old, that all images are lost somewhere in time... But here goes some news about the film this figure was made for - they started crowdfunding campaign to translate it to, and make it sound in English.

One of the main characters there is our guy - he painting miniatures, and a bit keen on history.
In the final fight, he taking courage from those "Brave 11"s action at battle of Maiwand.
