Great to see these figures again, takes me back...well someone should. One comment, the crossbelts and reins look a bit over-sized. I use metal sheet salvaged from a used tomato puree tube for straps like this. Cut the top and bottom off, slit it open, clean off any remaining gunge and burnish it flat with the back of the handle of a pair of scissors. You can slice it really thin, it moulds well against the body of the figure and it hangs realistically, so does duty well for leather at this and larger scales.

Thank you for the tip, Richard. the thing is, I actually do this (rather, I mix it up), but in this particular instance I just had to give up after a number of tries of fixing the "metal" reins to the bridle. No matter how much superglue I used, it just wouldn't stick. So I resorted back to "plastic". But I agree with you completely, the reins could have been a lot more realistic.

I have try many glues for my projects, and the one always work is Zap-a-gap with the green cap.

I had so many frustrations till i discover that one.
Just bear in mind the weather conditions like temp/humidity will play their part on the use of any glue or paint

I didn't know you had finished this project, nicely done!

Regarding the reins, I can see Richard's point, and I'd like to offer that even paper could be used, in this scale.

I can't remember if Airfix included any material, like a piece of foil or thin styrene sheet, in the original kit, or not, to make the reins, etc.

I'm glad you tackled this one. It's good to see a classic kit see the light of day.
