No probs Don, I put it down to a senior moment, and I get many of those now. Euro here we come, that should give us all a bit of relaxation after these last heady few days. Safe journey.

I take it the No's won... Congratulations UK and Scotland
Calmer heads and common sense prevailed, well done.
Hopefully any hard feelings can be put aside and the business of being a country can carry on regardless.

A 'yes' would have set a dangerous precident worldwide... whew

    Well done Scotland!

That was very, very, very close. There will be 1.6 million disappointed Scots this morning, so no triumphalism at all. But I'm a great believer in Britain being better than the sum of its parts.

No need for Kent to declare independence now, we agree to remain in the Union also!

Drinks at the Southcliffe bar tonight to celebrate!!!!!!!!

    Cheers, Jon.

Scotland gets more powers  England gets 10 times more powers so Scotlands more powers are totally nullified and we are back to the status quo
Am I just an old sceptic or has westminster fooled all of the people all of the time:whistle:
This should keep this thread alive a bit longer

Time to build a new brand new parliament building smack bang in the middle of the UK. Move it out of London, one of the most expensive places to live on Earth.

Apparently the centre of Britain is at the Whitendale Hanging Stones, so build it near there!

    Cheers,
    Jon.

The strange thing is the Orkadian vote ,no one in main land Scotland gives a shit about the place let alone Westminster ,then again it's a farming fishing community heavily subsidised , another strange thing ,Salmond left Dundee rather hurriedly not long after the polls closed :( was a deal struck behind closed doors
CONSPIRACY we have a dark history of it here :D
