I love the old movies with John Wayne.
And as a fellow collector asked me if I could paint him this character, I could not say no.

The figure reminds so fantastic at the scene when Marshal Cogburn hands-free rides and shoots his opponent with both hands.

I painted this kit by Andrea in acrylic and oil.

    I hope you like it

Very nice work. I especially like the base and groundwork you have used. I have a mounted figure of Gen. Custer in 54mm which I have been thinking of redoing. Your work has inspired me to get on with it.

One of the best lines in the move was "fill you're hand you son of a bitch" which Cogburn shouted before he charged. A lovely rendition of a lovely action packed casting, well done.

Very well done. One of my favorite figures that I have never purchased. Your rendition may just push me to finally "bite the bullet" and finally buy the kit.

Nice work. It has also caused me to take another look at purchasing one. (y)

    Fantastic!!!
Love Duster Movies! This fig really catches the spirit of the Duster. Andrea does great figures in action and I always liked their horses in motion.

Great paintwork and final presentation. Well done!

A nice job on a figure I've always loved but never purchased ( too small scale for me). Well done!
