Night Winds - Great Northern War

Adelsfanan in Livonia/the Baltic Provinces, 1704

Almost finsished, small toush ups left. Any comments and critique are most welcome, painting can be fixed and sculpting tips will be used in future projects.

The idea for the vignette comes from the Frank Frazetta Painting “Night Winds” but I wanted to depict it in a Great Northern War Setting.

The Cavalry figure from Adelsfanan regiment was sculpted with Magic Sculpt over a paper clip armature. The head comes from Scale 75.

The female figure is likewise sculpted with Magic Sculpt over a paper clip armature. The head comes from the Luz figure from Nocturna Models.

The horse is Pegaso “Nude Horse” with added equipment from rolled out Magic Sculpt, A+B putty, plasticard and punch and die metal from food tubes. Stirrups and the horses curb bits were made from flattened solder wire and casted in resin for durability.

The scene was mas made from coarse Milliput, Magic Sculpt, twigs and branches, stones, coal and metal can strips for sea grass.

Perfect sculpting and painting. Looking for mistakes in this project... well it maybe possible but I think it's better let it be because you're talented enough and I'm sure you show us excellent piece.

    Cheers
