I'm hoping to start sculpting figures. Have you any recommendations for a good book suitable for a novice?

What material are you using? And what scale? For large scale busts and figures in polymer clay (sculpey) I have found these invaluable - believe it or not!

For epoxy this book as a must.

    Hi Cheeses,
I see from your posts you like MMM, shoot Gordon a line, I am sure he will help out and point you in the right direction. One of his sculptors is sure to help with the info and direction.
Both the Horan books are great as they have SBS.
    Best wishes

Thanks guys, all good suggestions. I'm very much at the beginner stage, don't know what scale I'd like to do (probably 120 or 200mm) and don't know what material.

I'll certainly drop Mitch a line.
