  1. MMM A Fixture

Following on from the 101st Airborne release to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Operation Overlord is this 200mm resin kit depicting a soldier of the 82nd Airborne about to emplane.
This kit was converted by Michel Kermen from an original sculpt by Moz. It has additional equipment including haversack & entrenching tool. An alternate head will also be available. Each kit is supplied with a US paratrooper badge.
As with the 101st I am only able to produce a limited run on these kits at the moment and if any PF members would like one please contact me on rossmitchel84@gmail.com
Price is £65.00 which includes international shipping.
    Thanks for looking.

    Operation Dingson [edit]
A first group of 18 commandos (sticks lieutenants and Marienne Deplante) was parachuted near Plumelec in Morbihan near Vannes. Their goal was to establish the base where Dingson will then parachuted other SAS. Immediately after parachuting, they had to fight the German supplementary troops (Ukrainians and Georgians future Vlasov army). An hour later, the first victim of early Overlord operation, Corporal Emile Bouétard, a Briton, was wounded near Plumelec then completed by a proxy Ukrainian (1942, Hitler had asked the SAS commandos prisoners are executed ). Marienne had also lost in its operating radios. Until June 18, 160 French soldiers of 4th SAS (including its commander, Bourgoin, in which the British offered a parachute tricolor) were dropped on Dingson installed base scrub Saint-Marcel .
A large stock of equipment was also dropped each night on the drop zone (DZ or drop zone) "Whale", including shortly before the German attack, jeeps and machine guns. But jeeps landed partly in the trees, and machine guns were damaged: the firepower of the power squadron found in diminished. Part survivors Samwest had then joined the Dingson base and some parts Cooneys from rearming. The local German defense attacked the bush June 18 Losses on the French side made thirty victims, finishing off the wounded Germans. After the battle, the German troops, aided by French collaborators tracked down survivors, SAS and guerrillas.
