Yes my children see tv and Internet but we monitor what they watch I don't expect to see this kind of crap on a site like this and if this is the best you can come up with then I think you're the ones that are pathetic

Let's not have an argument. I think any reasonable person would agree that what was posted was inappropriate for THIS site. If you can't see that PMFS you are welcome to PM me. Please don't start a flame war or I will have to use my unpopular moderator super powers.

NSFW tagged red in the topic title!!! is an abbreviation of the English term "Not Safe For Work", a slang word used on the internet as a warning indication for improper to be displayed in public places or at work (eg pornographic) content.

You can't expect a 7 year old to understand what NSFW even means never mind be able to make a conscious decision not to look at it?

Why don't you just accept that what you posted was inappropriate for a "family"site, take it on the chin and maybe think before posting next time. Then we can all move on and enjoy the site.

For those who know me will agree that I'm no prude as I have several what I call naked pin up art figures in my own collection, and I see them as art as most people do, but they are not in a pornographic pose or act & that's where the difference here is,
my Grandkids like to look at my models & the artwork on PF, which is great because hopefully it'll encourage them to maybe take up the hobby at sometime, that for me is the reason we can't allow
"porn posed" figures to be shown on this site, we want youngsters to take on this superb art form of ours without us having to check the site first for content!

For me it was just one of the 3 new EVD releases that were "Oops don't let the kids see that" (yeah the double ender dildo job)
No one's knocking the quality of EVD's products it's just that "some" of the content is in my opinion over the top, but if that's what you like then you buy em & paint em but you can't really show em anywhere can you?

    Cheers

Shame. This site will be blocked for many, many people because of it and they won't see great painted and sculpted figures of another painters and sculptors anymore. BTW (my opinion): erotic things are very different to any porn stuff. And, please, be kind enough and find out what terms like 'netiquette' and 'online etiquette' mean.

    Dear friends,
please take a step back and calm down. Being a father of three now grown up kids and just recently a granddad I do not like to see minors exposed to porn stuff.
    - So , yes - I would let them visit this forum and would trust that they will not be exposed to porn over here.
If they come across that kind of stuff I still feel confident to handle this in a matter so that nobody gets away with a trauma.
    - So , no - it is not the end of the world if it happens. We are big boys aren`t we?
My kids would have accepted my comment that this is "crazy fantasy" and easily turned their attention back over to pictures of the little soldiers they see likewise in my cabinet. Kids are usually not that crazy about nude females back to back doing strange things - they have to become big boys first.
Paul`s recent thread about the Lady and the knight would be one of the first choices I would switch over to when my kid would have had opened the EVD-news today btw.
Whatever - we are an international forum and nuditity (and violence?) are handled in different ways in many places around the globe. So we should try to respect that when we post pictures containing these things. That does not just refer to model news but to some "funny" pics as well posted in other threads. Covering certain areas or thinking before posting should not be too difficult for big boys like us.
    My two cents.

I think EVD has gone to far lately with there pornographic figures.
    But that's just my opinion.
And as far PF concerns: This is indeed the right place for kids of that age and the wrong place for pornographic models

When there are certain subjects that could offend other viewers I think its wise to post the picture as a link with a warning above it. As not all apreciate this.

With that being said, this is not a website for children. Do we even have members below 15? My daughter turned 16 yesterday and my son is due for 19 in four weeks. But at young age Id rather have them watching naked people than people fighting and killing.

Two things concern me regarding this thread.
    1. The original posting of the images was ill considered insofar as two of the kit images were perfectly well covered by the NSFW tag.
However the third image of 'Flute concert' was by any definition pornographic, not in itself a problem but should never have been posted on an openly accessible and unrestricted
site. The fact that it grapically showed a sexual interaction by two participants and an object should have, I would have thought, given anyone pause for consideration before posting it.
    2. The unnaceptable way in which members of the site who raised their concerns appropriately were labelled by the originator, as being 'Pathetic' and that '....Kids are an excuse for
pathetic minds....' This personalisation and vilification of individuals is by any standards excessive and unacceptable.

I have to agree with most of the participants and their posts.
I am by no means a prude by any stretch of the imagination, in fact I have sculpted erotic products myself over the years. But they were sold through dedicated sources, and promoted in specific arena's. You could only find them if you were looking for them specifically.
To label folks pathetic, because they are thinking of the welfare of children, is in itself a pathetic stance to take!

I think the real question is, would you allow your own children to witness this stuff? That should be the default moral guideline you use when posting on an open forum.
