Hello again more zombie madness for you
I really enjoyed this guy right up until the end when I had no end of problems with varnishers, the mat varnish when't white so I tried to save him but now he has a slight sheen, the photos seem to have washed out the green on the skin and the gloss of the blood has photo'ed badly. Still let me know thoughtso_O

    Hi Mick!

Nice job on Zombie Kid Joe! I've got mine on the workbench as I write; but I won't be able to get into it in earnest until after the Atlanta Show in a couple of weeks.

Sorry to hear about the finishing mishaps with the varnishes. If the frosting has been eliminated, you should be able to respray the figure whenever you feel up to it. If I may, if you have any way to preheat the figure ever so slightly (I preheat mine in a table-top convection oven at about 150°F), that will ensure smooth, even coverage and no frosting. Then you can touch-up the wounds, etc. and it'll be good as new!

Keep up the good work. . . and say hello to Rin for me!

    Best,

    Augie
