This is the excellent Life Miniatures German 6th Army - Stalingrad 1942 Bust.
Painted primarily in acrylics with oils for the flesh. It was a beauty of a bust and one that I truly enjoyed painting. Any and all comments welcome.
    Thanks for looking-
    Scott

Hi Scott, This is an excellent example of "Stalingrad feel" !!!
I love the color of the scarf. How did you add the lens to the glasses???

    Scott,

Hey, I got it right! Great bust, and I got some great pictures of it at Chicago.

This is definitely my favorite interpretation of this bust, Scott. Can't say enough good about it. Nicely done indeed.

Nice work Scott. I took a bunch of pictures of this bust- and I picked up the kit too. Your work sold me on it.

Thanks Lee, the lenses were made from the plastic covering that come from Young Miniatures bust kits, I used a punch and die set to cut them and glued with crystal clear and some future clear.

Sure wish I could see this soldat in person! What I can see is a beautiful rendering on an excellent sculpt. The colors appear spot on, and to top it off he has just the right touch of wear and tear. Well done Scott!
