For me this is one of the best busts released by Young in a very long while.

This I like a lot. Even if the arm in a way blocks the face. I might cut of the end of the sabre though, 1-2cm?

A great addition to emerging group 'action' busts. Very dramatic and will sit perfectly alongside Stormtroopers 16th Lancer and CGS's Cuirassier.
    Cracking job (y)

Yep! :) What a great impact a new sculptor can give to an existing range - it is impossible for a single man to create everything unique month after month! The risk of tiredness is immense, even for a great gifted man such as Young. Glad he hear the beliefs and desires of his purchasers! :)

Coincidentally, in this case, Hiroyuki Ishii, who already has a fantastic Hussar on his backs, was cleaver and completely generated a new concept in this new creation maintaining the thematic he so generously started. Young also had previously surpassed himself, if possible, when he revisited the Polish Lancer not so long ago.

I particularly like the dynamic of the pose. The extreme action exhibited is impeccable - At several angles the Hussar is alive! Due to the "flying" ornaments, most probably there are several white metal parts, if not all such as previous creations from this period where Young chose metal rather than resin.

Let it become a best seller! Innovators must be rewarded and there is such a strong move ahead in this figure that I can only praise to see many more in a future near by: Innovative and differentiated - I stand up in ovation!
