    Pirates bad day

Well what can I say ?
You’re a Pirate . During the same day you’re shipwrecked because you lost you’re ship in a battle.
Floating in de sea a seagull passes and then again some bad luck falls down on you’re head.
This small scene is made with some heavy converted parts from Verlinden figures and some additional sculpting . The barrel is also from Verlinden .
The seagull is from Mantis miniatures a Polish branch making a lot of animals in the 1/35 scale range ( all resin ).

The water is made with vallejo still water and clear waterpaste.
Painting is done using Vallejo acrylics as basecoat and finished with oils .
The seagull flying through the air is fixed with a very small nylon wire on the pirate’s head .
But to get the realistic effect from droppings I still have to paint it off white .

What goes up must come down .

Watch out when you’re having a walk on the beach ;-)

Another great scratch-build. When are you going to get some of your work cast so the rest of us can buy it?

Great idea. I like your version of "shit happens".
Shit happens in Germany, too. This scenery was sculped myself two years ago. It shows a guard of the German part of the Wadden Sea (North Sea) which was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List some yeats ago.
