Rotating your photos

I noticed that some people must not know how to rotate their pictures before they put them on the forum, so I thought I'd just give a quick pointer.

If you are using Windows 7, just right click the picture and you will see an option to rotate the picture either clockwise or anticlockwise... this is probably also a feature of Windows 8... the picture needs to be a jpeg. You can also open the picture in Microsoft Paint in Windows 7 and there is an option to rotate there too.

It's a while since I used XP, so I'm not sure if the right-click and rotate is available in there, or in Paint, but you can download this nice free image viewer called IrfanView which will allow you to rotate a picture, resize it and many other things.

Hope this is of use and if anyone has any questions about it feel free to ask in here or send me a PM.
