    Hi folks!
I'm currently painting the first release of Fahrenheit Miniature Project.A new figure company leaded by the well known sculptor Eduard Perez.
It's a german Fallschirmjäger dressed in early war uniform in 75mm.

I don't like the sculpt of the face but the rest is top notch, as is your painting!

    Hi Jaume,

Amazing work as always, thank you for sharing these and providing inspiration.

If you dont mind a question: Looking at the first 2 pictures of the head panting, it seems like there are 2 distinct lights applied over the base flesh. One that is kind of the "base" light framing the ova of the face and then a higher or "brighter" one that adds more definition on the typical highlight areas.
Are these blocked in, or did you paint the base light first and then transition up to the higher light above that?

    Thanks!

Thanks for your support guys.More updates soon...

Hi Anthony.I start with a base colour(pic1),so I paint three highlights to draw the main facial features(pic2).These highlights usually blend together by themselves as I'm using the paint quite diluted. If not I'll blend them later when shadows are already drawn.Hope it makes sense
    cheers

Excellent painting as usual, Jaume, nice to see you at work! Can't wait to see it finished!
The only remark I have is the poor sculpt of MP-40, which could be better for such a nice figure.

    Cheers,

Is this a sculpt of a young boy or adolescent? Reason I ask is the proportions look a little odd for a representation of a grown adult male.
  16. faust18 Active Member

I kind of thought the same first time I saw it I know we all come in different shapes and sizes im a bit odd like that myself but he is a bit of a "smurf" without meaning to offend.

    Hi Jaume,

Thanks for the response, yes it does make sense... my real problem is being able to do it as well as you. ;)

Do we all come in different shapes and sizes?, well true maybe but proportions are proportions nontheless and these appear like the proportions of a young boy, kind of Jimmy Clitheroe as a fallschirmajager. Sorry but i just don't 'get' it. It looks strange.

I kinda thought Mickey Rooney then Elmer Fudd then had to stop I apologise in advance ive a bit of a warped sense of humour no offence intended, cracking bit of painting though cant fault that
