    Hi Hikaru,

A Verlinden figure ...a nice one at that , really like what you have done , they have their own style and still look great painted .

Love all the details you have included ...from the helmet and the grenades to the weapon ..like the tears on the trousers as well ......

The face I think looks very gaunt and tired with teh 1000 yard stare ....., lov ethe way you have done the eyes and the beard growth

    Thnaks for sharing

Very nice mate. Good painting all round and I need to say that cigarette is the best one I've ever seen painted.

    Awesome work Mitsutaka.
Your detail is superb, I especially like the boots and, as Grant said, the cigarette is the best.
    Cheers,
    Keith

I'm glad a lot of people like my work.

    Sorry for a simple answer.

Because many people are so · · ·.(n)

For cigarette first I painted white.

I painted on the opposite side of the gray and yellow ocher then.

I drew a ring of black and red.

I nudged ahead in black and white oil paint to last.

    Thank you very much again.;)

Excellent finish Mitsutaka . I too admire how you painted the cigarette very realistic looking. (y)

Beautiful painting. Theres no doubting your skill as a painter. In my opinion, the 5 o clock shadow looks a bit un-natural ... or too grey. It contrasts too much with the skin tone.
