Another range of acrylics and primers? I guess the paint is produced by one of the bigger paint factories like for instance Vallejo and then labelled and sold as Scale 75? A bit more info about the product would be nice and much appreciated...

    More paint Mr. Spielberg!

There really does seem to be a glut of paints these days, but I presume they don't think the market is saturated yet and there's room for another player.

    Fairly safe bet Johan.

The only advantage is if you like the range of colours. On the other hand, if its more or less Vallejo colours we all know to handle them no matter what the brand on the label is?

    Hi Guys ,

Mmmm more paints ...but haven't we all got lots of clours we don't use as well ........I would be interested in seeing if these perform differently compared to say Vallejo/Reaper .....more info on these would be great and an independant review would be good as well .

The NMM set looks interesting I must admit ..not sure if any other manufacturers have done this set though .

My question would be if the thinner is proprietary or if, like Vallejo, the paints can be thinned with water.

so when will these paints be out and will there any other NMM such as gold, bronze and brass?

I only use acrylics for undercoating so my stash does last a long time. It must be very daunting for a new painter as with such a choice they could easily get sucked in to spending a fortune when at the end it is the brush and skill that will produce the results combined with a quality product.
They do look very well packaged and produced, I am just glad oils are oils and pretty much are standard :)
As said be interesting to know if these have any unique qualities and I like the non metallic method of painting so a very good first release.

    Good Afternoon.
We want to explain you the concept of SCALECOLOR attending your request.
-We want to clarify that the paint formula and the supplier are both new. The paint formula is developed by some of the best models painters and chemist specialized in acrylics.
-Paints are acrylics and can be used with brush (dissolve with water) or with airbrush (dissolve with Thinner scalecolor).
-Paints are acrylics and miscible with other acrylics you can find in market.
-Paints are completely matt and made with a very fine pigment. You can work with them to do bases, glazes, dry brush, degrades, etc..
-Our sets are developed to get several color per set, not only one. All sets you can find now in market are designed to get only one specific process. With one of our set, you are able to get several paint process. With MNN (Set 1) you can design several metallic effects as steel, blue steel, stainless steel, etc…but all of them are matt. In this way, you can use the colors also to paint clothes, uniforms because they are a range of blue and grey tones. You can find a instruction sheet inside each set to explain the process with all details step by step through two samples to do easier the modeler work even if inexperienced.
-Very son we will release MNN (Set 2) for gold and bronze tones (in the same set) and the flesh paint set (Set 3) to complete the range of SCALECOLOR.
-Primer. It is and acrylic polyester dissolved . It can be applied on any surface as metal, plastic, resin, etc…. It is not necessary to dissolve it before use. You can apply it from the bottle straight using the airbrush. Very easy. Available in white or black now.
We are to your disposal for any question or doubt.
As soon as possible we will upload the video where you can find the process how to use paint in easy way.
