Dear All

Sorry I have not been as active in the forums but I have been busy on my latest diorama set in Leningrad. It's once again very big and involves a surprise assault on on a T34 with an ensuing skirmish between German and Russian troops.

I will not be blogging this one to death as I have been requested to do this on another site so as you can appreciate its a tad time consuming doing it on two.

The building is once again scratch built using cork and ply, the T34 is the 1/16 from Trumpeter and i have heavily modified a few figures, coupled with the inclusion of 3 Jeff Shui figures.

I will keep updating as there is something of note to update but here are pics of the building and a piece of machinery for the lower floor factory:-

Start with some of the figures and then through to the building. I am 4 months in with about another 10 to go but really enjoying it:-



I'll keep popping back with some more for you guys at various intervals.

It all needs to be primed and painted which I reckon is a 6 month job on its own ( could even be longer) but I'm in no rush.

Just one thing I noticed was the the German 6th army part 3 bloke looks more russian, just with the headgear and weapon he has.

This one will be stunning to.
And finished for Euro.

Taff, thanks for your help mate. He is defo German, it's deceptive as he is holding a PPSH bu his gear is all present and correct.

I have managed to get the building to about 90 complete and so added the primer. Here are the latest shots of the build, I hope it meets with your approval and I will be back soon with some pics of the T34.
