Looking For A Book On Diorama

    I presume you mean figure dioramas and suggest you check out Shep Paines book on making dioramas as well as Bill Horans book on figure building.

    thanks guys. I´m getting Shep Paine´s other book for christmas so I guess I´ll drop some hints about this one too to see if I can get the full set! Cheers.

    Let's Build a Diorama volumes 1 and 2 by László Adóba
    Some useful ideas, but relies a lot on air drying clay for my liking :)
    Apart from the Shep Paine book and these, I can't really see anything else as too helpful at the moment.

    Most of the above esp the Shep Paine book are good for this
    You may want to consider the VLS range of books also, very inspirational stuff!
    Bob Letterman, Louis Pruenau and Francois Verlinden are Masters!
    I loved their work back in the day!
    It's all moved on so much since then but they would be a good starting point for you
    There are forums dedicated to this stuff now also

    Hi bobby,i would say the best book i ever purchased was How To Build Dioramas by Sheperd Paine,it used to be available from www.historexagents.com in the uk,however my copy is over 20yrs old and i'm not sure if they still hold it on stock,the ISBN number is 0-89024-551-7,(y)

    A very good reference book, with a lot of SBS photos is Douglas Lee's Military Dioramas. I highly recommended!
