    Oh my gosh. . . this equestrian figure is just incredible. So
    much wonderful detail. In a scene that is filled with so much
    drama and atmosphere. And it isn't even painted yet. But it
    still gives off that kind of atmosphere. BTW, lovely photographs
    as well. Whew, really something. One of best equestrian offerings, IMHO
    that I have seen in quite some time. . . Wow,

    Wonderful work indeed Igor, outstanding. The new owner is very lucky to have such a piece.
    Love the horsemans use of his sword and the horses pose is super.
    Would this be the same type of cavalryman who fought the Tartars?

    Would this be the same type of cavalryman who fought the Tartars? It is hardly. Tatars came to Russia at 12-13 century AD.
