    work area 6.3 x 8.4 x 24 cm. Material - nanoceramic. Layer 15 microns. The best solution for 54mm scale soldiers or wargaming. We also cast and paint it.

    my printer is good for small and medium scales. for action figures 24cm hight - to expensive.

    Shapeways can only print up to about 7 inches in the high resolution material. Have you thought of parting it out and printing small sections at a time. That' s what I do.

    I'll print important parts on my printer and for body will use something cheap.

    If you hollow out the body it will probably cost around 50 bucks at shapeways to print,,, provided it is 54cm figure as you said and your walls are just under 1mm.
