    Thank you again, my friends.
I'd like to add some more in-process pics, but I keep getting an error message. Maybe the pics I attached before already took too much "digital" space on the forum.

    Ciao,
    Marco

Since not all Planeteers have access to Figurinitaly,
I'm showing here some in-progress pic from my archive... one is an early test for checking the "mood" of the composition, while the second was taken before primer application.

The yellow paste is Patafix, a european equivalent to BlueTac.

And this is where it all began... a superb illustration by Lucien Rousselot, in my opinion one of the best (maybe THE best) napoleonic artists. Details of the uniform were cross-checked with other sources: white uniform (ice-cream man?) was seldom worn, only for "top important" parades. The very first occasion was the Napoleon's wedding with Marie Louise - the Empress.

Probably the best 54mm figure I've ever seen on here.
    I don't say that lightly.
I think I'll pack in now and collect butterflies instead.

Simply outstanding work Marco. This is about the best Napoleonic figure I have seen. Outstanding!

Marco, I don't normally spend much time on looking at Napoleonic figures....but......this is something special.
I keep going back for a look, it's a masterpiece of painting....world class.
    Cheers

    Thanks again, my friends,
I'm flattered by such a warm welcome! So I'll add one more pic (the last, I don't want to fill too much space on the Planet server, eh eh!).

I think this one is not impressive at all, but it shows some small detail, such as the grenade on the sword hilt, that is quite cute...
I love small details like that, and Mr. Leibovitz sculpt of the sword is exquisite...

    Ciao,
    Marco

P.S. You can't see, but I'm actually blushing.
