Superb Daniel, oil painting at its very best. If I may suggest, just a touch of contrast in the lower legs, as it would define the bone/muscle structure, and take away the inky black that oils give. Blue is stunning and is wonderfully subtle and the gold is spot on in contrast to it. Look forward to you progress.

One of the most difficult colors on horse painting. And Daniel, you did it perfect.
    What a nice colour.
Great work, and look forward to your next pictures.

Daniel a cracking paint of a palomino horse, even harder than a gray IMHO
A nice paint mix with the oils, the addition of raw sienna is a brave choice given it's transparency .(y)
    The blue is terrific also.

Always love to see your work Daniel, beautiful Horse. Do you assemble all of the tack etc on the horse before you start painting. I never quite know whether to assemble everything and then paint or assemble in stages with all of the problems that can cause...what do you recommend?

Hi Daniel, just been looking at your pics again as I think you have done a superb job on it, however I have noticed that the ears appear to be back to front. I know that horses can twist their ears a considerable degree, but not sure they can rotate them completely backwards. Hope you are not offended by this observation.

    Regards

    Ron
