WIP Critique Young Minitures La Hire, Battle Of Patay

    Hello.
    Here's one of my ongoing works - Young's excellent La Hire bust.
    I've always wanted to paint it.
    I hope my efforts are worthy this amazing sculpture. Helmet 's not finished yet.

    Face is painted with olis, beard in acrylics, metal parts: acrylics, some oils and printers ink.

    In reality the beard doesn't llo so dull, so I'm rather not going to improve it.
    Actually, the longer I look at the pictures, the more I want to add some shadows to the cheeks :/
    This work never ends ;)
