    As ever lovely stuff Brian, brilliant wary expression. Is the detail on the shield raised? You certainly don't want to be handling too many wee men at the same time ;)

    Thanks for the comment Steve.The figure is a new release by Nocturna/Historic Art entitled Lancelot but can't be bought in the U.K. for what reason God knows.Got it from Best Soldiers .

    Fantastic work. I agree with your assessment of the "artsy" figures. I prefer the more, "natural" look for these types of subjects. (not that I wouldn't mind being able to paint something in the artsy style ;))

    I'm with you on the muted tones Brian!! definitely the master of the shades(y) 54mm I can't get below 75mm these days
    got a metal models mounted in the grey army and terrified to give it a go.

    No Doubt I will see this one in the flesh soon, great piece Brian.

    Brian, as always, you don't disappoint. I've always looked to your work for inspiration for my own. This is a terrific piece with superb colours...(n)
    I think it's wonderful that those of us with eyesight issues on smaller figures still keep trying...for me, the 70mm work, but it's tougher on the budget!
