Thank you very much George, Rigaud, Mario, Martin, Scott, and Adrian!

I'm not sure yet. I painted it but I still couldn't get the good result, and If I hang them on the shoulder they hide the camo which I spent A LOT of days and hours. :) So maybe I leave them out. :)

I said I finished but sorry I didn't satisfied with the fur 'cause it looked cold. I retouched it to make it look soft and warmer.

And added a little bit more 5 o'clock shadow.

The Size. This is 1/9 scale but the head is a bit smaller than that of average 1/10 size of Young Miniatures bust.

Perfect! I think you said there will be a feature on this figure in a magazine, but I don't remember the details? I really hope we can see this figure published somewhere...

And I have to ask, did you reconsider adding the ammo belts around his shoulders?

Thanks a lot guys, Pedro, Carl B, Paul, Alex my friend, Derek, and Mario!
I'm really glad you like this.

Thanks Derek and Mario, being interested in painting on face.
Thank you Mario, I appreciate your opinion. Yes the Fallschirmjäger bust and this figure will be in "SCALE MODEL HANDBOOK" future edition, so for that reason no SBS pics and detailed text here now. (haven't decided the details yet)

Yes of course I considered over and over again. and I decided to go without it now. There's two reasons for that, one is I haven't satisfied with the rendition of ammo belts yet, and the other is that it covers camouflage which I spent many many hours to paint! :)

    Hello Kaz,

That's breath taking ! The face is one of the most credible reproduction I've seen.
I understand you will write and article on your figure technique. ? Will it be in English and where could we get this magasine ?
I would have one question for you : are you usually working with multiple very thin diluted layers until you get the correct shade ?
    Best,
    Julien

Hi Julien, Thanks for being interested in my work.
The article will be on "Scale Model Handbook" future edition, written in English, and it will be published from Mr.Black Publications. You can buy from here.

And, here's the answer to your question about layers. Yes, I usually working with very very thin diluted layers over and over again until I get satisfied with it.
For me, the most important thing on using acrylic layers is "Don't hasten to the next bush stroke".

Kaz, great work all-around! It was cool watching this project come together. This is truly an example to follow for anyone painting nowadays...looking forward to your next piece. What is the next project on your workbench?
