    Hi all,

my first WIP on planet figure. Andreas 1/10 Bust "After the Battle". Started with Andrea and Vallejo Acrylic`s. Next step trying to smooth the face with oil`s (Rembrandt) and giving the beard more color, also the neck and the ears. Also the uniform needs lot of work .If family and business allow to spend more time on this guy, maybe i will finnish shortly.

    All comments are welcome.

    Cheers Lako

Very nice. Very haggard looking veteran. Glad to see others still use oils(y) Would you mind sharing your flesh mixes?

Thank you @ all for replies.

    @ Paul:

I havo no special flesh mixing formula like mixing "40% from A + 60% from B".
Using Andreas "How to paint skin" colors on my way, not following the Andrea Instructions, works good to me. Add grey,Blue (for shades mixing with darker Skin tones) and white (for highlights mixing with Basic Skin tone) to palette - these are the Colors i need for my Face painting. But, the goal for me is, using
Acryl Retarder from Schmincke to get a color paste (it behaves like oils) which allows more Time for transition ( up to 15 minutes before drying ).

Feel free to ask for more if question isn't answered enough.

    Cheers Lako
