Finally managed to finish up a couple of little projects this weekend. Ended up waiting for some new basing materials which finally arrived a few days ago.

The first one I am calling, "whatcha doin' mister?" This is the Andrea gunfighter glamour set in 54 mm on a scratch built deck cobbled together with bits from the scrap bucket and a few bayardi accessories.

The second is a repainted Blackhawk figure. I have always liked him and think he is a cool character I've not seen the likes of in kit form anywhere.

Both done with acrylics and color inks.

Will be taking a little break from historical subjects to work on a little fantasy vignette next.

Thanks Mike. The Andrea set are great little characters. The Blackhawk figure was a little lacking in details in areas like the ears for example but fun to paint nonetheless.

Thanks guys. Great characters and fun to paint, though I am not crazy about the look of the bases on these big photos. Didn't think I'd gotten that carried away with the dark ink.

And still hoping to come to Rochester this coming Saturday, Nick. Maybe I will see you down there.
